effects studio and learn the tricks of the trade from the Blue Chromakey to the
Teleprompter. Put your new knowledge to work as a weather or news anchor. The
tour finale features a special presentation showcasing networks that make up the
rest of the Turner Broadcasting family such as: TBS, TNT, and the Cartoon
Network. Enjoy lunch at the CNN Center with a choice of more than 15
restaurants. Experience the
“Battle of Atlanta” at the Cyclorama, the world’s
largest painting. Through narration, music, art and sound effects, history comes
alive and takes you back to July 22, 1864 to become part of the battle, an
important part of Atlanta’s very colorful heritage. Check in at the spectacular
Renaissance Hotel before dinner at PittyPat’s Porch. Aunt PittyPat has chosen a
delicious Southern meal to reflect the gracious Atlanta hospitality. Dinner
Day 2 The hot breakfast buffet with a vast array of offerings will get your day
off to a fantastic start. At the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum you will get a
glimpse of the American presidency from the Carter’s life in the
White House to
complex decisions made in the Oval Office. Several exhibits focus on important
twentieth century events such as war and peace, disarmament, and the economy.
You may view the more personal aspects of the Presidency embodied in handmade
gifts from the American people, elegant objects from foreign leaders, a formal
White House dinner setting, and video-taped events at the executive mansion. Now
it’s time for shopping and lunch at Discover Mills! Discover Mills includes the
best name brand and designer outlets, factory stores, specialty stores and big
name super stores. Themed
restaurants, family entertainment, the Towne Square
Festival Food Court and interactive retailers are all part of the experience.
You’ll return to Huntsville reflecting on two days filled with great
experiences, good food, good friends and wonderful memories. Breakfast
