Enjoy a delightful autumn day - a day to enjoy God’s creation! Leave Huntsville
about 8:00 a.m. and ride through the mountains of North Alabama and Southern
Tennessee to the Shellmound site. Indians once roamed here and left their mark
on the land. Here you’ll board the Southern Belle Riverboat for a cruise upriver
through the Grand Canyon of the Tennessee River. During the cruise enjoy the sun
shimmering on the water and the color-washed trees along the banks. There will
be live entertainment and a “Build Your Own” sandwich buffet. Stroll the decks,
chat with your riverboat neighbors, move your chair to catch the sun.
Upon arrival at Ross’ Landing in Chattanooga, your motor coach will be waiting
to take you to Bea’s for a delicious authentic Southern meal, served family
style. Enjoy your plate of foods you’ve chosen and then turn the lazy Susan
table to bring that special dish back for a second-helping.
On your way home you’ll realize that memories are made spending days like this.
