guide will share the area with you some of the town’s treasures. Visit Thorncrown Chapel. Thorncrown was the dream of retired school teacher, Jim Reed.
In 1978 Jim enlisted the help of renowned architect E. Fay Jones to design a
place of worship for the visitors to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The result was a
forty-eight foot tall wooden structure with 425 windows. Since the chapel opened
in 1980, over five million people have visited this woodland sanctuary. It won
the American Institute of Architecture's Design of the Year Award for 1981,
Design of the Decade Award for the 1980's, and AIA has placed Thorncrown Chapel
fourth on its list of the top buildings of the twentieth century. You’ll also
visit Christ of the Ozarks, the largest statue in North America. This amazing
seven-story statue of Christ and its beautiful mountain setting attract visitors
from all over the world. A tram will take you on a guided tour of tthe

reveal the cultural and religious significance of
the "dwelling place of God on Earth", also known as the Tabernacle of Moses in

East on this exciting living history Biblical teaching tour. This is the world’s
