Day 1 Imagine a Victorian village nestled in the Ozarks, encircled by two beautiful lakes and two scenic rivers. This historic city with old-world charm and European flavor offers timeless leisure and endless sightseeing. Stroll our narrow, winding streets and enjoy fabulous restaurants and specialty shops. This is Eureka Springs, your destination today. Eureka Springs has been designated “One of America's Distinctive Destinations” by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. There will be rest stops and a lunch stop en route. Enjoy your dinner, take a dip in the hotel pool, if you like, and be ready for a full day tomorrow. Dinner

Day 2 After a continental breakfast at your hotel, a local guide will share the area with you some of the town’s treasures. Visit Thorncrown Chapel. Thorncrown was the dream of retired school teacher, Jim Reed. In 1978 Jim enlisted the help of renowned architect E. Fay Jones to design a place of worship for the visitors to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The result was a forty-eight foot tall wooden structure with 425 windows. Since the chapel opened in 1980, over five million people have visited this woodland sanctuary. It won the American Institute of Architecture's Design of the Year Award for 1981, Design of the Decade Award for the 1980's, and AIA has placed Thorncrown Chapel fourth on its list of the top buildings of the twentieth century. You’ll also visit Christ of the Ozarks, the largest statue in North America. This amazing seven-story statue of Christ and its beautiful mountain setting attract visitors from all over the world. A tram will take you on a guided tour of tthe historical district. Enjoy lunch on your own downtown.

After lunch you will go to the Great Passion Play grounds where you will join “Levitical Priests” as they reveal the cultural and religious significance of the "dwelling place of God on Earth", also known as the Tabernacle of Moses in the Wilderness.. Gain insight into the history and culture of the Ancient Middle East on this exciting living history Biblical teaching tour. This is the world’s only complete, life-size reproduction of Moses’ Tabernacle in the Wilderness. There will be time to visit other on-site attractions: Bible Museum -- the largest collection of its kind in the United States, 6,000 historically significant Bibles in 625 languages and dialects, Sacred Arts Center -- a critically acclaimed collection of sacred art, a section of the Berlin Wall. Included is a scrumptious buffet dinner. You certainly don’t want to miss The Parable of the Potter. The Potter teaches the power of creation and faith in God as symbolized by the molding of clay.
