Wednesday: Depart Huntsville at 7:00 a.m. and enjoy the company of your fellow
travelers. Arrive in Ellijay for lunch (included) and
shopping. Downtown Ellijay’s quaint square is lined with historic buildings,
antique, craft and gift shops. Don’t miss the Hyatt Hotel, now the Gilmer County
Courthouse, the Perry House and the Dr. Watkins residence. Travel on to Helen
where you will check in at picturesque Unicoi State Park’s Lodge. Visit
Charlemagne’s Kingdom which features 400 feet of railroad track with
computerized trains, alpine village with moving cable cars, cities, towns and
villages. Experience a unique trip through
Germany with replicas of buildings existing in Germany. Over five thousand hand
painted figures and hot air balloons, a three ring circus, mountains 22 feet
tall, and more will enchant you.
